Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital holds symposium with Henan Provincial Chest Hospital

Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital (Jinyang Hospital) held a symposium with Henan Provincial Chest Hospital on Oct 29.

Since 2015 Henan Provincial Chest Hospital has enjoyed solid cooperation in Cardio-Thoracic surgery area with Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital. Presidents of Henan Provincial Chest Hospital Wang Pingfan and Qian Rulin assisted No 2 People's Hospital as experts, which helped its disciplinary development and improved awareness. Gao Tingchao, the director of the cardio-thoracic surgery department of Henan Provincial Chest Hospital, went to assist No 2 People's Hospital and to cultivate a team of excellent cardio-thoracic doctors.

Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital will cooperate further with Henan Provincial Chest Hospital in the Cardio-Thoracic surgery area.

"When I was transferred to Henan Provincial Chest Hospital, I've heard that we have friends in Guiyang. In the future, we will do more cooperation in disciplinary development, talent cultivation and advanced technologies," said Yuan Yiqiang, president of Henan Provincial Chest Hospital.

Yang Weimin, Party secretary of Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital, thanked Henan Provincial Chest Hospital for its support, and said the hospital would push forward developments in its surgery department and bring in advanced medical technologies to benefit the people.

Attendees included Yuan Yiqiang, president of Henan Provincial Chest Hospital, Wei Xiang, secretary of the disciplinary committee of Henan Provincial Chest Hospital and Yang Weimin, Party secretary of Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital, Li Kun, President of Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital, Nie Bin, deputy Party secretary of Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital, Xiang Fei, deputy President of Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital and directors of the two hospitals.

Chen Jianming, former deputy president of No 2 People's Hospital, hosted the symposium.
