Mobile P2+ nucleic acid testing lab put into use

The Guiyang Disease Prevention and Control Center's mobile P2+ nucleic acid testing lab was delivered on the morning of Oct 30.

The lab enables the Guiyang Disease Prevention and Control Center to test up to 3,000 cases each day or even 30,000 cases using 10 and 1 testing technology.

The lab was built in line with extra and PCR bio-safety lab standards. The lab is divided into a reagent preparation area, sample area and amplification area and also has an independent high voltage sterilization room equipped with an automatic nucleic acid testing device and a negative pressure environment to ensure the safety of staff, samples and the environment. The high-tech lab can move to the front line of the anti-epidemic struggle at any time.
