Gui'an New Area holds third TCM training class

The third Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) technology training class, which was hosted by the Guiyang Bureau of Health, and presented by Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital (Jinyang Hospital) , came to a successful conclusion on Nov 4. More than 600 attendees were awarded the certificate.

Experts provided full details about infantile massage, acupoints and common diseases.

Qian Xiaorong, a doctor of the department of pain treatment in Beijing Road Community Health Service Center said, “Infantile massage is very useful; I can't wait to serve our young patients.”

Gui'an New Area TCM talents training base selected technologies suitable for promotion, and invited experienced doctors to be the lecturers so health workers could master the technologies and use them. The TCM talents training course worked to ensure that all basic level medical organizations can provide TCM service.

Min Yan, who attended the first training class and is the doctor of Shangfu Village clinic in Guanshanhu district, has already used the TCM technologies in her work.

Development of the Gui'an New Area TCM talents training base started in Feb, 2020 and on July 21 the base opened in Guiyang No 2 People's Hospital. It has already successfully held three training classes, benefiting more than 1,000 medical workers. Training has been provided in TCM diagnosis, prevention and control of Covid -19, TCM treatment of colds, TCM infantile massage, and many other TCM technologies.
