Over 3 million COVID-19 vaccine doses given in Guiyang

More than 3 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been administered by June 18 to residents in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, according to local media reports. 

More than 2 million first doses were administered and more than 1 million second doses were given, according to Gao Lan, an official from the Guiyang Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

The peak daily vaccination reportedly reached 200,000 doses in the city.
