Guian hospital officially begins operating

The first section of the Guian hospital affiliated with Guizhou Medical University, located in Guizhou province's Guian New Area, started operating on July 3.

The hospital consists of two sections covering a total area of 528 mu (35.2 hectares). The first section has an area of 374,700 square meters, including an outpatient and emergency treatment building, an inpatient building, a comprehensive building, an infectious disease department, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, and an administrative building.

The hospital is located at the intersection of Baima Avenue and Tianhetan Avenue and near the Guian high-speed railway station. It has 32 medical departments and is equipped with 1,499 beds.
