Guiyang Bureau of Health organizes hospitals for holiday

The Guiyang Bureau of Health recently organized the outpatient duty of major general hospitals in the city of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, to guarantee medical services during the coming National Day holiday from Oct 1 to 7. 

All hospitals on duty are required to open all outpatient departments on their day of duty. Medical workers on duty must stick to their posts and strictly implement the system of responsibility for the first consultation, medical technical operating procedures, and sterilization and isolation systems to ensure medical safety.

While working to control the COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals on duty should deal with public health emergencies in a timely and effective manner. 

These hospitals should also make preparations for emergency personnel, medicines and vehicles, and implement emergency treatment in accordance with related emergency procedures.
