Guiyang launches publicity campaign for World Mental Health Day

The Guiyang Center for Disease Control and Prevention, together with the Guizhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Guiyang Psychiatric Hospital, launched a publicity campaign for World Mental Health Day, which fell on Oct 10 this year. 

The campaign aimed to help children and adolescents learn about mental health knowledge and improve their psychological adjustment capabilities. 

At the site of the event, staff members of the centers and the hospital distributed over 500 publicity materials, measured blood pressure and blood sugar, offered rehabilitation and physical therapy for free, and arranged for psychiatric specialists to carry out more than 100 free consultations and psychological counseling services.
