A WeChat applet providing healthcare security services was recently launched in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The applet, called Shuzhi Guiyang, was jointly developed by Guiyang Healthcare Security Bureau and Guiyang Big Data Bureau, and is part of Guiyang's efforts to strengthen the informatization and digitalization of its healthcare security services.
Through one-time face authorization, the applet is capable of handling 15 healthcare security services that in the past have mostly been dealt with by healthcare security counters and are of high public concern, including the registration, inquiry, and cancellation of medical treatment records outside Guiyang, and inquiries into healthcare security account balances, payment details, and local medical insurance agencies.
Local citizens can directly log into the applet through the official WeChat account of Guiyang Healthcare Security Bureau.
