During this period, the center signed infectious disease specialist alliance agreements with the People's Hospital of Longli County, People's Hospital of Guiding County, People's Hospital of Ziyun County, People's Hospital of Puding County, and People's Hospital of Pingba District.
Cheng Yiju, deputy director of the center, said that the establishment of a specialist alliance can improve the utilization efficiency of high-quality medical resources, resource distribution and medical and health work at grassroots medical institutions.

Once established, the alliance will allow people with infectious diseases to enjoy high-quality medical services without leaving home through telemedicine treatment, teaching, training, and advanced studies.
More patients with incurable or severe diseases will be able to be quickly and effectively treated through an efficient referral channel created by the alliance.
The center has already reached a consensus with around 100 county and municipal-level medical institutions in Guizhou on the establishment of the infectious disease specialist alliance, and will complete construction this year.
