Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, reported a confirmed case of COVID-19 on March 29.
To prevent spreading, all schools in Guiyang will strictly implement closed management.
No outsiders will be allowed to enter schools unless necessary, and they must be in possession of a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours.
Teachers, students and employees at the schools must strictly verify their identities and closely monitor their individual health. Their health codes and itineraries should be checked at the entrances of schools, and all are advised to reduce unnecessary social gatherings and outings.
Guiyang will strengthen the sanitation of its school environment, regularly ventilate schools' facilities, and clean and disinfect classrooms, dormitories, canteens, bathrooms, libraries, conference rooms, sports venues and other public places.
Schools are required to further improve their emergency plans and carry out epidemic prevention and control drills to ensure the efficient operation of the emergency command system and enhance emergency response capabilities.
