The Guiyang Bureau of Health organized a meeting on April 22 for the promotion of employment and entrepreneurship in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, for graduates of local medical colleges in 2022. 

Directors of another seven Guiyang government departments, including the medical insurance bureau, industry and information technology bureau, and bureau of culture and tourism, as well as officials of the health bureaus of various jurisdictions in Guiyang attended the meeting. 

Liang Xianquan, director of the Guiyang Bureau of Health, in light of previous job fairs held at two local medical colleges and investigations of grassroots health centers and drug production enterprises, discussed employment prospects, job requirements, and the role of graduates from medical colleges and universities with attendees, and further clarified tasks, employment targets and working methods.

Xie Benjun, deputy director of the bureau, introduced the phased progress in employment and entrepreneurship among graduates of medical colleges and universities in Guizhou in 2022.

The participants discussed how to cooperate and help medical graduates find employment or start their own businesses in Guiyang and Guian New Area.
