The Guizhou Provincial Emergency Medical Rescue Base (Guiyang), the Guizhou Provincial Water Emergency Medical Rescue Team (Guiyang) and the Guiyang One-Stop Service Center were officially launched on July 16 in Jinyang Hospital in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
At the founding ceremony, Yang Weimin, Jinyang Hospital's senior official, gave a presentation about the three initiatives, and talked about the hospital's professional emergency team and its advanced ambulances and rescue equipment.
To further improve the response capabilities and systems for public health emergencies in Guiyang, the hospital established the emergency medical rescue complex, based on its emergency and critical care medicine departments.
Furthermore, it set up a professional emergency response team composed of more than 60 members and divided them into six groups for emergency command operations, comprehensive coordination protocols, nursing, medical technology and logistics support, among other functions.
The hospital started the construction of the one-stop service center in August 2021, to facilitate people's medical treatment and improve their general medical experiences.
The center, with a floor space of 2,500 square meters, started trial operations in May and was the first in the province to implement multi-channel medical expense payment services.
