The temporary static management of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Guanshanhu district of Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – was lifted from Sept 9, except for some areas.

Some industrial enterprises, construction sites and district government service halls in the district have resumed production and have gradually returned to orderly operations, while strictly complying with the relevant requirements for epidemic prevention and control.

On Sept 11, 124 employees returned to the factory of Guiyang Haocaitou Food Co at the modern manufacturing park in Guanshanhu.

While strictly implementing the requirements for epidemic prevention and control, the employees there began working in an orderly manner and the company's beverage production line and meal replacement assembly line were running at high speed.

Employees entering the factory must wear masks, register their information, take temperature measurements and present a health code, site code and a 48-hour nucleic acid test report.

Guiyang Zhongan Technology Group Co is also resuming work and production efficiently.

"So far, most of our production line employees are on duty. The company's daily output value is about 10 million yuan ($1.44 million) and the total sales orders it has received are 370 million yuan," said Shuai Zhigang, deputy director of the company.

Guanshanhu district has also set up a nucleic acid testing site in the company so employees can undergo nucleic acid testing and antigen detection as required, to ensure the timely and safe resumption of work and production.

In addition, the Guanshanhu government affairs service hall has set up 22 business windows and they are currently operating well.
