The metro lines in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have adjusted their operations since Sept 12 to strengthen epidemic prevention and control and reduce the risk of virus transmission.
According to Guiyang Urban Rail Transit Group Co, the section from Douguan Station to Bailuhu Station on Guiyang Metro Line 1, and the section from Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital Station to Zhongxing Road Station on Guiyang Metro Line 2 will continue services, while other sections of the two lines have suspended operations.
The first departure times from Douguan Station, Bailuhu Station, Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital Station and Zhongxing Road Station have been adjusted to between 6:20 am and 9 pm. The departure interval during peak hours (7 am to 8 am; 6 pm to 7 pm) is 30 minutes, while it is one hour at all other times.
Those who take Metro Line 1 must hold a green health code and a 48-hour nucleic acid negative certificate.
Passengers taking Metro Line 2 must also hold a green health code, a 24-hour nucleic acid negative certificate, and an epidemic prevention pass, and undergo cross-district inspections.
