Guizhou holds training session on inhalable COVID-19 vaccine use

The Guizhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention recently held a training session on inhalable COVID-19 vaccine and recombinant COVID-19 protein vaccine in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. 

Staff members of centers for disease control and prevention from cities and autonomous prefectures across the province as well as staff members engaged in immunization programs at health centers in communities, towns and townships attended the training. 

Experts from the Institute of Immunization Program at Guizhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention explained in detail the vaccination plan, on-site organization, vaccination information management, abnormal reaction monitoring and other technical implementation points of inhalable and recombinant COVID-19 vaccine.

Attendees operated vaccination nebulizers for inhalable COVID-19 vaccine in groups at the training session. 

The training session aimed to further promote the safe, orderly and standardized implementation of COVID-19 vaccination among people over 18 years old in the province.
