In response to the current epidemic situation, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, further adjusted COVID-19 control policies on Dec 8.
The city has further reduced the scope and frequency of nucleic acid testing and improved the efficiency of nucleic acid sampling. People can take nucleic acid testing on a voluntary basis, except for those from high-risk areas and in high-risk positions.
Public venues, except for rest homes, welfare institutions, medical institutions, nurseries, and primary and secondary schools, no longer require negative nucleic acid test results, green health codes and itinerary codes.
People entering medical institutions need to show negative nucleic acid test results from within the past 48 hours. Medical institutions shall not refuse treatment on the grounds that patients have no negative nucleic acid test results.
Negative nucleic acid test results, health codes and itinerary codes are no longer required for cross-regional travel.
