Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, made strong progress in improving health care in 2022.
Last year, the city promoted vaccination and health awareness, with over 90 percent of its population being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
It also put 12 one-stop outpatient service centers into use, advanced the construction of "15-minute health and medical service circles", and completed 32 health projects.
Two national regional medical centers were established in Guiyang which also built three sub-centers for national medical research centers last year.
The city developed four national model communities friendly to senior residents, and the enrollment of infants aged under 3 at local child nursing institutions increased to 3.53 per 1,000 people.
It also won the title of National Health City four times in a row as well as the title of National Model of Healthy City Development.
This year, the Guiyang Bureau of Health will continue to implement eight special actions concerning improving medical treatment capabilities and public health capabilities, enhancing maternal and child health quality, providing health services for senior residents, improving residents' health knowledge, training of health personnel, reform of medical and health system, and promotion of traditional Chinese medicine, so as to provide the people with full-cycle health protection.
