Guiyang to further enhance healthcare in 2023

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, released 10 measures to improve the living standards of local residents on Feb 8.

As for medicine and healthcare, within the year, the city plans to complete construction on the main structure of the cerebral department building of the Second People's Hospital of Guiyang. 

In addition, four new county-level medical sub-centers and 50 smart health first-aid stations will be established in the city. 

Guiyang will also finalize the overall planning of general outpatient clinics for patients with medical insurance. The maximum annual payment limit of the pooled fund will cap at 2,000 yuan ($294.85), while the annual payment limit for general outpatient coordination of medical insurance for residents will increase to 500 yuan.
